Kancil Story animal puppet children storytelling in Malaysia

Stories are the best way to connect and understand people around the world, isn't it?
Today I want to share with you this funny video from Malaysia, about Kancil Story with animal puppet storytelling (video by Sri Wisnu).

Dongeng Kancil is one of the culture of Indonesia, Java Island. This story telling tells the story of “Kancil”. This fable is full of life education that reflects of the human characters that symbolized by animal characters. It is performed using leather puppet, screen, banana trunk, puppet box, dodogan, keprak, and javanese gamelan orchestra.

Eddy Pursubaryanto, a lecturer of Gadjah Mada University Indonesia, was invited to have a kancil puppet talk in Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI) Malaysia. The talk was organized by Mayco Santaella, a lecturer of UPSI.
