The Power of Storytelling in Bangladesh

Today I want to share with you a very interesting clip by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bangladesh.
The title is The Power of Storytelling: Youth Empowerment through Public Narrative and, as the video description says, it is a good demonstration of how UNDP adapted the concept of Public Narrative developed by Marshall Ganz to its work with youth. Youth have had the opportunity to share their stories, identify common needs and priorities and undertake civic engagement activities in their communities.
I think that it is a great initiative. Storytelling is a giant power, like I already wrote here before. So, if you are talking about the power of telling stories you are speaking of the essence of it. One of them is surely to give youth voices a space to express, share and create groups and common projects.
It is an incredibly educative and stimulating road to walk together, that can also help both who tell and who listen to find the best way to grow up.

Here is UNDP Official website.
